Philip Brandt, MD

Dr. Brandt specializes in the treatment and management of oncological and hematological disorders. Prior to completing his internal medicine residency & fellowship training at UMMS-Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts, he practiced as a physician in London, UK. Dr Brandt gravitated towards the fields of hematology and oncology given its unique place in the medical landscape and due to the close ties it affords when caring for patients with hematological or oncological disorders. He is a firm proponent that both individuals and their families be cared for with a holistic approach and that emphasis be placed on shared decision making when it comes to any patient’s healthcare and treatment. During his training, he took part in hospital wide clinical research as well as presenting in national conferences and has published case reports in his field. Outside of work he enjoys skiing, travelling, and cooking and looks forward to getting to know you or your loved ones.
